Terms of Service

These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and Verifind ("Verifind", "we", "us"). By accessing or using verifind.name.ng or any of our APIs, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have read and understood these terms, and agree to be bound by them.

If you are using Verifind on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms, and "you" refers to that entity.

Verifind is an email validation platform. We check email addresses against a range of signals including DNS records, SMTP servers, spam databases, and reputation sources to help you understand whether an email address is likely to deliver successfully.

We do not guarantee that our results are 100% accurate. Email systems change constantly and some addresses cannot be verified with certainty. Our scores and verdicts are best-effort assessments, not guarantees of deliverability.

The service is provided "as is" for legitimate email marketing, sales, and communication purposes. We reserve the right to update or change the features we offer at any time.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and API keys. You must notify us immediately at hello@verifind.name.ng if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorised it.Verifind is not liable for any loss resulting from someone else using your account.

You agree to provide accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date. Accounts created with false information may be suspended without notice.

You may use Verifind only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• ×Validate email addresses for the purpose of sending unsolicited messages (spam)
• ×Use the service to harvest, scrape, or compile contact lists without consent
• ×Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the service without written permission
• ×Abuse the API or circumvent rate limits through multiple accounts
• ×Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws, including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and the Nigerian Data Protection Act
• ×Upload lists that you do not own or have permission to validate

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account we believe is being used in violation of these terms, without notice or refund.

Payments are processed by Flutterwave. By making a purchase, you also agree to Flutterwave's terms of service. We do not store your card details on our servers.

All subscription charges are billed in advance on a monthly basis. We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you cancel a subscription, you will retain access until the end of the billing period.

Credit pack purchases are non-refundable once the credits have been added to your account. If you experience a technical issue where you were charged but did not receive credits, contact us within 7 days at hello@verifind.name.ng and we will investigate.

Prices may change. We will give you at least 14 days notice before changing the price of your active subscription, either by email or a notice in the app.

Credits are consumed when you validate email addresses. One credit is deducted per email checked. Free plan users receive 100 credits per calendar month. Paid subscribers receive their plan's monthly allocation on the same date each month.

Credits do not roll over from one month to the next unless they were purchased as a credit pack. Credit pack credits never expire as long as your account remains active.

We reserve the right to adjust credit allocations for plans at any time with reasonable notice.

We process the email addresses you submit solely to provide the validation service. We do not sell your data or the email addresses you validate to any third party.

Validation results are stored to power your history and re-download features. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting hello@verifind.name.ng.

Verifind, its logo, and all content on the platform are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of the service.

You retain ownership of the data you upload. By uploading email lists, you grant us a limited licence to process that data for the sole purpose of providing the service to you.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may perform maintenance, updates, or emergency fixes at any time, which could temporarily affect availability.

We are not liable for any losses caused by downtime, delays, or errors in our service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verifind and its founders, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

You may stop using Verifind at any time. You may cancel your subscription from your account settings or by contacting hello@verifind.name.ng.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these terms, fail to pay, or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases and any unused credits or subscription time are forfeited.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top and notify you by email if the changes are material. Your continued use of Verifindafter changes take effect means you accept the new terms.
